the messengers: "Hold on to those who remind you of Allah MuslimOnTheMap MOTM The Best Companions . I was watching thia video on YouTube where it was said in that video, The Best companian is the one whose appearance reminds you of Allah, and whose speech increases you in knowledge, and whose actions remind you of the hereafter. - Do they remind you of Allāhﷻ? His Prophetﷺ? . Who do we spend the most time with? For most of us the answer "friends". Friends are the people we share things with, talk to regularly, and experience a large part of our life with and if they are upon jahilyaah chances are we are on that too on a level. . This is why the Prophet ﷺ said: “A person is on the religion of his companions. Therefore let every one of you carefully consider the company he keeps.”(1) . Most us commit sins on daily basis because of the encouragement we get from our friends like when they do stuff me and you just blindly join in, even when sometimes you dont want too. . Allāhﷻ says, “And (remember) the Day when the wrong-doer will bite his hands and say: Woe to me! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger. Woe to me! If only I had not taken so- and-so as a friend! He has led me astray from this Reminder (the Qur’an) after it had come to me. And Satan is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.”(2) - “Friends on that Day will be enemies one to another, except the righteous.”(3) . Prophet of Allahﷺ says, The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the seller of musk, and the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows. So as for the seller of musk then either he will grant you some, or you buy some from him, or at least you enjoy a pleasant smell from him. As for the one who blows the blacksmith’s bellows then either he will burn your clothes or you will get an offensive smell from him.”(4) . Brothers and sisters it is really important that we chose our friends wisely, u could be having the time of your living with them but in future the likes of you and have narrations but no ideas about it. The friends around you can either destroy you or make you among the best of people. - May Allah bless us with righteous company✨ - Ref (1)Tirmidhi (2)Qur’an 25:27-29 (3)Al-Qur’an 43:67 (4)al Bukahri & Muslim ✒@muslimonthemap

the messengers: (Quran, 13:11) Allah Will Not Change The Condition OfA Person Until They Change What Is In Themselves. ardenoahebious In order to improve ourselves and to seek true contentment within our lives, we need to regularly observe our attitudes, reactions and thought processes. Do we spend our time wisely? Is it pleasing to Allah? Reflecting deeply to identify our flaws and our strengths is the beginning of making a positive change. - "Indeed he succeeds who purifies it (his own self). And he has failed who instills it with corruption” (Quran, 91:9-10) - In order to grow our relationship with others, we must communicate productively and be ready to apologise or forgive others for Allah's sake. Humility leads to strength and not weakness. - The Messenger of Allah, (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 1924, Grade: Sahih) - With this understanding in hand, as well as the knowledge required for improving ourselves, we can achieve living an upright and peaceful life. - Eventually, we will come to see what really matters in life is our spirituality and closeness to Allah, in addition to the happiness, love and mercy we can provide to others. Once this has been established everything else falls into place by His mercy. - Lets reflect upon on our condition, Allah's help is near, but how near are we to Allah? @gardenofthepious

the messengers: Allah's Helpls Near. an-Nu’man ibn Basheer (May Allah be pleased with him), narrated: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) say, "Truly, in the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if it is whole, all the body is whole and which, if it is diseased, all of the body is diseased. Truly, it is the heart."' (Related by Bukhari and Muslim) - Life can be perplexing sometimes, like a very detailed jigsaw puzzle. One that contains many overwhelming pieces that we feel the need to place together alone, including a few other important pieces. - However this is where we go wrong, I can't explain how many times I am guilty of this myself. You and I, are not always responsible for putting all the pieces in the correct places, because Allah helps us along the way. That doesn't mean we must not make effort to put together the vital parts of the puzzle correctly, but there is a point where we must also have Tawakkul to fill in the missing gaps, and who greater is there to add the final touches than Al-Mutakabbir himself? - We often do more harm by trying to fix this puzzle on our own, due to expecting immediate results. And often this is why we feel doors close when we seek help from the creation, rather than The Creator. - Don't be afraid to ask Allah for help at any stage, and never give up on His mercy. Afterall, it is He who puts all the pieces of our affairs in their correct places, at the best time according to what He has already willed. - Of course at times we will deal with the calamities and heartaches, making it difficult and frustrating to solve the puzzle. But a few well placed pieces can go a long way. Seek Allah's help through prayers and sabr, and continue to show Allah your effort and it will all fall into place. And remember we are truly complete when we find peace in loving Allah and trusting Him. May this state of harmony ultimately lead you and I, in reaching our hopes and goals. @gardenofthepious

the messengers: WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY BE QUIET ardemejilepieas The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If any of you becomes angry, let him keep silent." (Reported by Imam Ahmad, al-Musnad, 1-329) - "...anger is placed in the nature of a human being so as to keep harm away from himself and so that he can take revenge from the one who harms him. However, what is detested is excessive anger, as it disturbs one's soundness, makes one imbalanced and immoderate, such a person starts making wrong decisions which may even affect he who is angry more than the person he is angry at. - Anger is heat that spreads when something provokes one's anger, it makes the blood of desire boil to take revenge, and may even cause a fever. The main reason for anger is usually arrogance, for a person is never angry at anyone who is higher than him. That said, the cure for this is that the angry person changes his state; if he is talking he should be silent, if he is standing he should sit, and if he is sitting he should lie down, so that he may calm down. If he leaves the place immediately and leaves the one he is angry at, it would be better. (In reference of the Sahih Hadith found in Abi Dawud, 4782) - If an angry person does not become calm when his anger peaks, he may harm himself or the person he is angry at and he would certainly regret any actions he may take take afterwards. - To cure this disease one should envisage what he looks like when he is angry and what he looks like when he is calm. This is when he will know that anger is a state of insanity and immoderation. If he does that then he will see the ugliness of what he was about to do and therefore he will leave it." - 📕(Disciplining the Soul, Ibn al Jawzi, Page 51, 53-54)‎ @gardenofthepious

the messengers: Love for the sake of Allah is without a doubt the strongest type of love @islam everyone Love for the sake of Allah is without a doubt the strongest type of love. This is due to the fact that love itself can only exist, as long as the reason to love exists. For example, a man in love with the beauty of his wife will only love her as long as her beauty exists. If she loses her beauty due to old age or any other reason, his love for her diminishes. Whereas love for the sake of Allah, can never diminish as Allah himself is the ever-existing, the ever-living. Now the question arises, why should I love for the sake of Allah? What’s wrong with just loving? Well there are numerous narrations of the prophet (peace be upon him) and verses in the Quran which speak about the virtues of those who love each other for the sake of Allah. Hadith 1 [quotes]Anas reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) “Anyone who possesses three attributes will experience the sweetness of belief: that he loves Allah and His Messenger more than anything else; that he loves someone for the sake of Allah alone; and that he hates the idea of reverting to disbelief as much as he would hate being thrown into a fire.” [Agreed upon][-quotes] Hadith 2 [quotes]Mu’adh said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah, May Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, says, “Those who love one another for My majesty will have minbars of lights. The Prophets and martyrs will envy them.”‘” [at-Tirmidhi][-quotes] After reading these two narrations of our holy prophet (peace be upon him) it shows that this type of love is held very high in our religion and even the prophets and martyrs will be jealous of it. Now that we know what the strongest type of love is and its virtue, how do we love for the sake of Allah? Loving for the sake of Allah means to love for someone what Allah loves, and hate for them all that Allah hates. This means to enjoin good and forbid them from evil. Making them the best Muslim they can be and securing your future in paradise with them. As Muslims, paradise is our ultimate abode and getting there is what we strive for. Let’s start with loving for the sake of Allah because surely that is the ultimate form of love.
