Memes, News, and Party: wouL "I THINK IT'S GREAT!" Republican Party HQ vandalism suspect boasts in on-camera interview before arrest Hours after he allegedly spray painted the words 'rape' and 'shame' dozens of time on the Winnebago County Republican Party headquarters Sunday morning, suspect Timothy Damm (42) talked with an Eyewitness News reporter at the scene. "I think it's great," Damm said of the vandalism. "I haven't been great with the Republicans right in my neighborhood, but somebody labeled them for what they are. I'm happy about that." Damm was wearing a pink shirt with the same date printed on the back when he was interviewed. When asked if he thought the vandal had gotten their message across, Damm replied, "I think they did... Republican equals rape. That they support rape, they encourage rape, and if you rape someone, they will defend you." Damm was detained later Sunday at the Walmart on Riverside Blvd. where police found him in possession of additional cans of spray paint in a shopping bag. He was taken into custody on Monday. Damm was charged with criminal damage to property and resisting a police officer. He faces up to one to three years in prison, if convicted. According to the criminal complaint, Damm danced on the table in the police interview room, stacked chairs and furnishings, and stripped down to his underwear. The complaint goes on to say that when police tried to escort Damm from the interview room he thrashed his arms and legs and refused to sit in the holding room. He was then taken to the floor and restrained in handcuffs.

The interview mentioned a lot of projects we can expect to see from Diddy in the near future, including the new app that he and ‪Jay-Z‬ want to develop to connect consumers to black-owned business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ He stated, "My culture… I want to be an authentic, unapologetic warrior for black culture and the culture of the street and how it moves. My thing is most importantly to change the narrative of the black race. I can't relate to anything that isn't about that.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There wasn’t much mentioned about the app’s name, release date, etc. Yet, Brother Love let up lightly about the apps projected function. When you open it, you will be able to search any city for black-owned or black-friendly business for you to patronize. Like a digital directory. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ He goes on to clarify, saying, "This is not about taking away from any other community… We'll still go to Chinatown. We'll still buy Gucci! But the application will make it possible for us to have an economic community. However, the conversation took a turn for the worse, when the group began to open up old wounds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In a sneak preview of the group’s reality show, “Xscape: Still Kickin’ It,” the group is shown discussing an unauthorized version of their story with Jermaine Dupri. The ladies were frustrated with the fact that Dupri, who produced and discovered the group, signed off on the airing of the unauthorized version. Meanwhile, Dupri was curious as to why the ladies of the group even cared. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After the clip aired, Cohen discussed the scene with the women and inquired about the group’s break up, but that is when things took a sharp left. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cohen asked TamikaScott if it was hard for her to admit that she made up the story about JermaineDupri and Kandi hooking up, to which she responded that she didn’t. However, Kandi quickly intervened, saying that that particular part of the story was not made up, but that it was not what lead to the group’s break up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Jermaine and I hooked up, but that’s not why the group broke up,” Kandi clarified. “It was some other stuff that she said in the [radio] interview…you said that I hooked up with Jermaine’s dad and that’s absolutely not true.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “So that is what I said that wasn’t correct,” Tamika replied, pointing towards Kandi. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As the interview continued, the group also discussed new music, to which Kandi revealed that she will not be working on new music with the group. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “They are,” Kandi said, pointing to Tamika, LatochaScott, and Tiny, adding that she is going on to work on other projects. However, the tour is still on track to begin later this month.

Beautiful, Crying, and Girls: HARRY STYLES TRIED ON A FISHNET SHIRT AND LEATHER VEST FOR CARPOOL KARAOKE NEWS Harry Styles finally hopped in the car for his very own episode of "Carpool Karaoke," and it pretty much hits all the emotional notes you'd expect from a full-length movie starring Harry Styles. — The interview starts out innocently enough, with Harry admitting to James Corden that he cries while singing "Sign of the Times." "It makes me cry performing it sometimes," he says. "I find it quite emotional." But he quickly clarified that he meant crying "in, like, a cool way. Like my eyes are sweating. Oh, this is cool, it's emotional." — Harry also revealed that his favorite song off his debut self-titled album is "Sweet Creature" just before he went ahead and harmonized with James through all the high notes. — Things took a turn for the erotic, though, when James had Harry try on different outfits just to make sure he could pull them all off. It turns out Harry can even pull off a fishnet tank top under a leather vest — who knew? — Then, inexplicably, while singing a duet to each other, Harry and James got real, real close. Like, quoting Brokeback Mountain at each other close, which quickly turned into them acting out different scenes from romantic films. Yes, James got Harry to say the Titanic line "draw me like one of your French girls" and yes, it's beautiful. By Sasha Geffen
