 a singer and maybe we'll do a record. So they had a
 friend they tried out on vocals but it didn't work out
 because he didn't write any lyrics. So they were just
 like, "We're probably gonna scrap the band. I was like

 lyrics and we had a practice and that was it."
 For a long time LeATHERMOUTH was a studio-only

 January. Subscribing to an unwavering musical aes
 thetic of relentless, heavy hardcore punk, XO's lyrical

 drug dealers to the government to school bullies. With
 very little melodic ambition to speak of, lero screams
 like a man literally bursting with things to say.
 On the touring side of things, the band completed
 a mini US tour in September with Reggie & The Full
 Effect, followed in December by four dates support-
 ing Mindless Self Indulgence

 is because I was a little scared of what people would
 think. But on the other hand, I don't want to run away
 from anything or pretend that I didn't say some of the
 things I've said. The world is full of people that are hid-
 ing from the stuff that's going on in the world today.

 of my friends were thinking of starting a new band.
 "I remember it like it was yesterday. It was right
 before we were going to see a movie; we were in the
 parking lot of the movies and we all crowded into their
 Volkswagen. They played me this 3 song demo, there
 were no vocals or anything like that, just simple verse-
 chorus punk rock, and I was like, Wow, how can I be
 involved with this band?
 "I have my record label, Skeleton Crew that Irun
 with a few friends so I told these guys they should find
 was going to do a Reggie & The Full Effect tour, so
 we decided that I'd play in Reggie with him and we'd
 both do LeATHERMOUTH
 "We had done a few shows here and there but
 it never felt real until we did the Reggie & The Full
 Effect tour. It actually felt like the band was finally
 doing things after two years of just recording in my
 basement. All these emotions started to come out
 and the shows just got better every day. By the time
 we were like, 'This is turning into something incred-
 ible,' the tour was over. We were like, "We need to

 have to do certain things."
 These "certain things" for lero include his duties
 with My Chemical Romance, which will almost
 certainly ensure that LeATHERMOUTH gigs are fewer
 and farther between in 2009.
 It remains to be seen whether the thrashy hardcore
 sound of LeATHERMOUTH will influence lero's con-
 tribution to the new MCR album. He's fairly certain it
 won't, but he's not ruling

 or white boy rap that so often rear their ugly heads
 when members of popular rock bands embark upon
 side-projects. LEATHERMOUTH is all about hard, fast
 LEATHERMOUTH
 and raw punk rock.
 "It's not better than My Chem, it's not worse than
 My Chem, it's just different, and I really feel like I need
 both," lero states. In an effort to soften the blow for
 MCR fans, he stresses that the two bands could not be
 more dissimilar. "Originally I thought maybe l'd keep
 it completely anonymous. I thought if people would
 automatically check this out solely because they like
 ATHEAMAUTH
 Xo
 happen. Maybe we'll throw
 a heavy-ass breakdown on
 the new record? I'd put my
 money on no, but you never

He’s been doing this for the past few years, making recordings with some friends under the banner, LeATHERMOUTH. XO, the full-length debut by the side-project, is brutal hardcore with raw, savage production (it really was recorded in Iero’s basement) and lyrics that are matched for passion and aggression by the guttural delivery. There’s no pop hooks, no emo choruses - nothing to cry over, but plenty to get you fired up. While on one hand it’s sure to attract a lot of curious My Chem fans, mayn of whom are sure to either disappointed or downright frightened, this connection mean it’s also liable to miss its target market slightly due to the fact that regular fans of this type of raging hardcore are sure to be put off by Iero’s day job. When you go to a haunted house, it may seem like you’re being funny by trying to scare the actors or jump out at them when you go through a second time, but guess what? ITS NOT FUNNY.
You pay us to scare you. It is your choice to go, so don’t fucking go through if you’re going to ignore the rules and get too close to the actors as a ‘joke’.
These bruises happened because over the course of 4 hours, several people ignored the instructions that CLEARLY stated that they were to wait in the front room until told otherwise. Rather than listen, they ran into the next room and slammed into me- effectively throwing me into the wall. This didn’t only happen once. It happened ten times at LEAST.
Then we had this asshole who thought that once I ‘died’ for the haunt, he could pretend to kick me to see if I’d moved. I, being used to people abusing me- jumped back and slammed my head into the concrete wall.

I feel that this is relevant considering it is October and more Haunted Houses are opening up. I know it seems funny to scare the ‘monsters’ but all you do is hurt real people. So stop.

I work at a Haunted House every October, and have been for the past few years. Our house in particular is staffed by Volunteer workers who are either earning credits for Graduation, or people who know the Family that owns the haunted attraction. In our City, we’re one of two Haunted Houses, so while we open in late September, we tend to get incredibly busy during the month of October and often work from 6pm until 2, 3am on weekends. 
We do not get paid to help out. Due to our location, we get a lot of drunk guys coming through, and a lot of ‘funny’ teenagers. In my several years working there, I’ve seen Actors get grabbed and thrown, stomped on, kicked, bitten, everything. A lot of the Actors at this attraction are young teenagers, Middle and Secondary School students, so this kind of abuse is terrifying and potentially emotionally scarring.
There’s a position half-way through the house we call ‘Psych Ward’, and it’s essentially a jump scare. The scare is a corner-room, boxed in with walls and broken windows, that the Actor pops out of and shouts and taunts the people going through. October, 2012, a couple were going through the Psych Ward corner and the scare went off as per usual. The girlfriend of this couple got very startled but laughed it off and continued on. The boyfriend, however, back-tracked and went up to the broken window and punched the Actor in the face for scaring his girlfriend. The Actor, who I’m going to call Tracy, had a black eye for a good two weeks solid and the couple had to be escorted out of the house and were banned from the property. Ever since we’ve ruled that Veteran Actors (someone who’s been there for 3+ years) are the only ones allowed in this particular Scaring Spot.
He paid to get scared and then got violent when we delivered.

I just want to raise awareness that the ACTORS ARE STILL PEOPLE. We’re instructed to get the best kind of scare out of you, sometimes with no pay at all (like this particular attraction), so please respect our work.
We wouldn’t come to your job, mock you, and push you around trying to be ‘funny’. Don’t come to our job and do that to us!

I literally cannot believe people are angry over this post saying “don’t fucking beat up actors”

I work at a haunted hayride and a guy tried to dropkick me in the chest and knee me in the face because he thought it was funny. 

I got in trouble for breaking character to tell him to fucking stop.

Most recently a customer fucking kicked me and sent me to the goddamned hospital.  

WHEN YOU GO TO A HAUNTED HAYRIDE / HAUNTED HOUSE, REMEMBER YOU LITERALLY PAID US TO SCARE YOU.

If your family or friend(s) force you into a haunting, be upfront as best you can and tell actors as they come up “please do not scare me i am too anxious / scared” and 9.99/10 times we will listen and leave you alone.  just communicate with us even though we most often cannot communicate back.  
We may be playing monsters, but we are NOT monsters.
Also, please remember to keep your hands off of us during your haunting, and also please try to step in or speak up if you see people trying to touch us, assault us, or talking about planning to touch or hurt a staff member.  
We cannot do anything and will most likely get in legal trouble for touching you in defense.

These bruises happened because over the course of 4 hours, several people ignored the instructions that CLEARLY stated that they were to wait in the front room until told otherwise. Rather than listen, they ran into the next room and slammed into me- effectively throwing me into the wall. This didn’t only happen once. It happened ten times at LEAST.
Then we had this asshole who thought that once I ‘died’ for the haunt, he could pretend to kick me to see if I’d moved. I, being used to people abusing me- jumped back and slammed my head into the concrete wall.
YOU ARE NOT FUNNY BY BEING RUDE AT A HAUNTED HOUSE. WE ARE PAID ACTORS THAT YOU CHOOSE TO COME AND SEE PERFORM. YOU PAY US TO SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU, SO DONT HIT US WHEN WE DO

I work at a Haunted House every October, and have been for the past few years. Our house in particular is staffed by Volunteer workers who are either earning credits for Graduation, or people who know the Family that owns the haunted attraction. In our City, we’re one of two Haunted Houses, so while we open in late September, we tend to get incredibly busy during the month of October and often work from 6pm until 2, 3am on weekends. 
We do not get paid to help out. Due to our location, we get a lot of drunk guys coming through, and a lot of ‘funny’ teenagers. In my several years working there, I’ve seen Actors get grabbed and thrown, stomped on, kicked, bitten, everything. A lot of the Actors at this attraction are young teenagers, Middle and Secondary School students, so this kind of abuse is terrifying and potentially emotionally scarring.
There’s a position half-way through the house we call ‘Psych Ward’, and it’s essentially a jump scare. The scare is a corner-room, boxed in with walls and broken windows, that the Actor pops out of and shouts and taunts the people going through. October, 2012, a couple were going through the Psych Ward corner and the scare went off as per usual. The girlfriend of this couple got very startled but laughed it off and continued on. The boyfriend, however, back-tracked and went up to the broken window and punched the Actor in the face for scaring his girlfriend. The Actor, who I’m going to call Tracy, had a black eye for a good two weeks solid and the couple had to be escorted out of the house and were banned from the property. Ever since we’ve ruled that Veteran Actors (someone who’s been there for 3+ years) are the only ones allowed in this particular Scaring Spot.
He paid to get scared and then got violent when we delivered.

I used to work at a haunted house. Don’t be the asshole who hits people when you get scared. You paid for it. You knew what you were getting into. It’s clear as fucking day what is going to happen. If you react violently to being scared don’t go to haunted houses.

Know the situation & imagine yourself in their place! He has do lot of savings to fulfill those demands of yours! . I've seen many people who pass out with less marks from high school & then relying solely upon parents that they will pay the donations in big esteem colleges! *Arey paapa donation bhar dege* Like seriously bro ??? Do you imagine what it takes to save 5-10 Lac rupees to pay for your immature behaviour & getting wasted during high school Life!!! . Instead if you had studied well then same money could have been saved! ThinkAboutTheseThings . Be a matured person & work hard by yourself if you want things like iPhones or Sports bike & stuff! I'm independent from past few years & it feels great to buy things by your own 👌🏻 Do any Part time job OR turn your expertise into Profession & Provide services to earn your 💰💰💰 And that thing even makes our Parents more Proud & Happier 👍🏻 Dont waste their efforts & money behind your Foolish behaviour! . I hope atleast one teenager realizes these things & acts like matured wise person henceforth 👌🏻 Soon in next 10-15 years or so even you'll become a Parent & will realize how tough things actually are but your Parents never made it feel in front of your Desires & Happiness 👍🏻 . Our Real SuperHero ; Father 💯❤️ . I Personally felt this message was much needed seeing what today's generation is doing!
