 retail employees like shit, you
 become an instant joke. You are the
 story they tell over coffee to make
 their friends and family laugh at the
 idiot. You are the person they mimic
 in a squeaky voice.
 Next time you want to yell at a retail
 employee, imagine them repeating
 what you are about to say in a
 squeaky voice. Because that will be
 your legacy.
 It's ridiculous how true this is
i work at at supermarket like as a cashier and this lady came in ( also it was my first day with a brand new system i so not comfortable with yet ) so i straight up told her like 'we have a new system sorry if i'm a bit slow ' and she just rolled her eyes and said something under her breath but whatever and then one of her items ( honey leg ham to be exact why do i remember? cause the moment has been burnt into my brain) so i told her this isn't scanning i'll get someone over to help and called someone over and continued to scanning her remain items until they came over and so i told the person i called over and now we are finding a tab for meats so we can get scanned whatever and she's just standing there almost yelling that she doesn't have time for this ( it hadn't even been 20 seconds yet ) and just as i pointed to the meat tab to get the price and all that she fucking hits the person helping me she was also less then an inch away from getting me too and then just tells me to cancel it and let her pay and leave cause she's spent to much time here already ( like we are keeping her captive ??? idk ) but its okay i made the person she hit laugh afterwards
