Had I received a message like this then, I legitimately believe I would have attempted to take my own life. Unfortunately for you, two days ago a littie boy saved me. I didn't even know him -yet as we passed each other he said I was beautiful and deserved to live. Just like that. As tumbir becomes more populated, the amount of times I see hate on my dash is becoming more frequent. Often after my initial fury at seeing the cruel message dies down, I wonder what it is in the anonymous' life that has made them so bitter, heartless and cold, that they feel compelled to tell someone that they are not beautiful or are undeserving of life. I have failed to think of anything. I can find no reasons for such inhumanity. 3 weeks ago, a 13 year old girl from my town committed suicide because she was being bullied. The amount of people it affected is astounding. Her father is going to walk her down the aisle in a coffin as oppose to a beautiful white wedding dress. He's probably going to cry himself to sleep tonight like he has done since she she died. He still remembers holding her the day she was born and promising to protect her no matter what. Her mum is never going to teach her how to put her new born baby to sleep. She is never going to have a first kiss. Have sex. Travel the world. Feel the rush of relief when she finishes her final exam. Turn eighteen. Have a baby. Feel anxious when her child goes to school for the first time. Someone murdered her with their words. Someone like you. I'm naive to think you will never send hate again, but please learn two things from my response. 1. t takes a few kind words to save someones life. 2. It takes a few cruel words to take someones life. VIA THEMETAPICTURE.COM epicjohndoe: Such A Beautiful Thought

Have Failed: So, I know it's a standard Tinder question but I have to ask-are you a serial killer, and if so do you have reason for it? Only a serial killer would ask if serial killer. was Wednesday 8:28 PM Naw, I wouldn't be able to handle the hours. Unless you were looking for a colleague serial killer to bond with... I was going to say the latter but Wednesday 9:13 PM Hypotheticals it is then. If I you were a serial killer, what would be your M.O.? That you are a man. I'd want to be a siren. Ooooh, I like it, somehow you made that not creepy. I am impressed. Do Sirens work on lesbians as well? Aw damn. I have failed. Ummm, no. Idk. Maybe? Wednesday 9:44 PM This sounds like a slightly problematic writting prompt in a freshman creative writting class. You can still kill me if you want, especially the straight white kind. They are pretty underrepresented in the serial killer victim market That is the sweetest thing a complete stranger has ever said to me Ya, just put some sad music in your playlist...or set... or whatever sirens do. Haaa okay So on a scale of 1-5 how would you rate my creepiness? Wednesday 10:33 PM Either O or 10. I cant read non-verbal in text conversations. On a scale of 1-5. I am 98% enjoying the banter, but 1.5% of me is irrationally scared that I just invited you to murder me Wednesday 11:04 PM Do you think this conversation would hold up in court? No, but hopefully it will hold up on reddit Lol... Let me know what sub you decide to post this on I'm pretty sure if it gets enough Karma, it becomes a legal document and will hold up in court. Fingers crossed Type a message... GIF In the untimely event of my death…start here

That print newspapers captured $21 billion in 2013 of all local ad spend, and the next largest share after direct mail, is important because advertisers in print newspapers have historically been amongst the easiest to persuade to use the print Reader Magazine because of The Reader’s lower overall prices and higher penetration of advertisers‘ customer base. Twenty-seven million U.S. small and mid-sized business owners, who together produce $8.4 trillion– half– the nation’s GDP, and the majority of the U.S. population are without an authentic local media channel which champions their interests regionally and nationally and makes the powerful accountable to them. Robert McChesney and Victor Pickard write, “As the basis for self-government is an informed citizenry, and [the press] is the institution with primary responsibility for making an informed citizenry possible, the existential crisis for news media is, in fact, an existential crisis for self-government”.  These individuals collectively spend $65 billion on local advertising each year, a force capable of providing them world-class local advertising because it is alongside world-class journalism that champions the interests of SMEs and small communities nationwide.
