Beautiful, Booty, and Cute: I love this woman and her curvy body. as a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls on the thicker side, ones w ミスター黒猫 mr kuronekocafe || I love this woman and her curvy body. As a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls on the thicker side, ones who were shorter and curvier, girls that the average (basic) bro might refer to as "chubby" or even "fat." Then, as I became a man and started to educate myself on issues such as feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean) I realized how many men have bought into that lie. For me, there is nothing sexier than this woman right here: thick thighs, big booty, cute little side roll, etc. Her shape and size won't be the one featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan but it's the one featured in my life and in my heart. There's nothing sexier to me than a woman who is both curvy and confident; this gorgeous girl I married fills out every inch of her jeans and is still the most beautiful one in the room. Guys, rethink what society has told you that you should desire. A real woman is not a porn star or a bikini mannequin or a movie character. She's real. She has beautiful stretch marks on her hips and cute little dimples on her booty. Girls, don't ever fool yourself by thinking you have to fit a certain mold to be loved and appreciated. There is a guy out there who is going to celebrate you for exactly who you are, someone who will love you like I love my Sarah. || photo cred: @savinthebees

Bodies , Facts, and Life: Words by @sarahsapora . This is a body in progress. This is 38. This is an unapologetic woman. This is me. Do I make you uncomfortable? Does this image of a larger woman, standing in her skin in a powerful and sensual way make you pause? I hope not, but there’s a good chance it does. Because this isn’t something we see every day. I know, even I paused the first time I scrolled through these pics and, hell, that’s MY body! We need to know, that sensuality doesn’t have to be defined by our size. . We need to know that beauty doesn’t expire after the age of 35. . We need to accept that bodies in progress, those that are changing shape, may have looser skin. And that looser skin is just skin. It isn’t something to be ashamed of. . We need to believe that larger bodies are just as entitled to their sexuality as their more slender peers are. . We need KNOW that that all of these things that make people uncomfortable are facts of life. Bodies change shape. Bodies get older. Bodies are different sizes. Bodies are allowed to be sensual in their varied forms. . As a teenager or younger woman in my 20s, I wish I would have seen an image like this. It wouldn't have "told me it was great to be fat" but it would have helped me to not feel so broken. And if I had felt less broken, maybe I would have felt more confident in my body and in my "desirability" and then maybe, just maybe, I would have spent so long overcompensating for something that I hadn't yet learned to believe deep down in my soul. That I am worthy. I am enough. I am not invisible. And those who do not "see me" are not meant to. Those that are, will. And that is perfectly ok by me. You can be at peace with yourself and still strive for more. I believe this deep in my heart. Well, I suppose, if we're being honest here, there's been something wrong for years. You see, since I was a child I've always noticed that it could never quite keep up. A reflection should follow your movements precisely, in real-time, with no guesswork involved. But mine is always just a little slow and sometimes just a little off. The first time it happened, it really scared me. Children are very perceptive, you know, and 8-year-old me, with my keen eyes, I could see that something was wrong. I told my parents but they didn't believe me and insisted that it was all in my head. They still forced me to brush my teeth on my own every day despite all of my protests. As I got older, my slow reflection just became a fact of life. Didn't matter where I was, what mirror I was looking into, my reflection just couldn't keep up. I began to make a game of it and see if I could catch it off guard. I would open my eyes really suddenly when washing my face to see if I could get a glimpse. What freaks me out now though isn't my reflection's slow shenanigans. No, I got used to those long ago. What freaks me out now is that today, while washing my face and playing my usual game, I opened my eyes to see my own face staring me down with a sinister smile. It makes me wonder... why, after all these years, does it suddenly feel confident enough to come out of hiding?

Beautiful, Energy, and Growing Up: HOW HE RESPOND WHEN HIS STUDENT STARTED TO CRY WAS BRILLIANT You don't feel confident in yourself? Beautiful reminder of how men should be leading their young boys. Comment below if you agree this is beautiful and follow @lewishowes for more like this 🙌 powerful teacher @cave313 . . I had every type of example of leadership and coaching as a kid from my father to countless coaches growing up . . Some were loving and patient. Others in my face and screamed at me. Others who gave tough love and everywhere in between . . Sometimes humans don't know how to respond to people when they aren't "getting something right". Do I feel there is a time for screaming and getting in someone's face if if they are completely disconnected? Do I think we need to have thick skin in some moments and softer in others? Yes I do . . It's hard to dance in every moment of life and shift from one emotion to the next. But great leaders are aware of the moment and of other people's energy. They show up in a way that works for that person in the moment . . As a father or boyfriend or teacher what I've learned is to Be flexible. Be vulnerable. Know your audience and learn what is most effective to lift everyone up around you . . I mess up all the time and am no way perfect and I don't expect you to be. But this father taught me a powerful lesson and I hope he inspires you as well . . My book The Mask of Masculinity covers all of this and more.
